About Us
Your hosts spent many years working in the luxury yachting industry in the South of France plying the waters of the Mediterranean and at more than one opportunity, had the pleasure of driving a classic Riva along the Cote d’Azur from Monaco to St Tropez. Hence the name. Le Riva was designed to make your visit a unique, comfortable and fun experience. The apartment is comfortable, our fares are competitive and the service is unparalleled.

Such a great little spot, perfect for a family stay. Kids loved the play house, beds were comfy, house was warm. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would recommend and we will stay again!

We stayed at Le Riva when visiting Whanganui for the weekend. Being out in Castlecliff Beach it was in a nice and peaceful location next to the beach (6 minutes drive to town centre). Our kids loved the park/playground just across the road, and a great cafe was just around the corner. The interior was retro cool, and had everything we needed. We’d absolutely stay again!

Carol and Wayne are a lovely couple and gave us a warm welcome at the apartment. They provided us with valuable informations about local restaurants and good fishing spots that proved to be amazing.
The apartment has a lovely old French flair and is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The beach is right on the other side of the street and you can walk from there to the mole if you fancy a few casts or want to take sunset pictures.
A real gem and highly recommended!
